Allow us to introduce ourselves

ADLAR was created when Adam Gross (AD) and Larry Jones (LAR) connected over a shared passion for art and the promise of what AR can deliver in a fine art context.  They combined forces (and names) to create ADLAR Studio.

  • Adam is the owner of GROSS ART, a curatorial program and consultancy dedicated to serving fine arts and cultural organizations, and project room SPACE 1028.

He has more than two decades of experience in fine arts, most recently as the former Director of The Lapis Press.

There he produced works with some of today’s most noteworthy contemporary artists – from Ed Ruscha and Analia Saban, to Jennifer Steinkamp, Daido Moriyama, Betye Saar and many more.

  • Larry has been in the Hollywood content creation business for 25+ years, first at ViacomCBS where, as President, he built multi-billion dollar brands and franchises, then at Blackthorn Media which produced virtual and augmented reality experiences.

He has extensive experience working in programming, marketing, promotion, press and production including making use of bleeding-edge technologies like real-time gaming engines, artificial intelligence/machine learning, digital humans, volumetric capture and advanced mocap applications.
